Green

Children are always very insecure – as they have very little exposure to what the world really is. Thus, they need care, love and attention from people in their lives. They are also very curious to know about things around them, and they always need someone to introduce them to this and that, or basically, be there for them.

I would like to share a poem by Cecil Frances Alexander which I regard as a very suitable piece to inspire children to live their long lives happily and positively.


All Things Bright and Beautiful

All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful,
The Lord God made them all.

Each little flower that opens,
Each little bird that sings,
He made their glowing colors,
He made their tiny wings.

The purple-headed mountain,
The river running by,
The sunset, and the morning,
That brightens up the sky;

The cold wind in the winter,
The pleasant summer sun,
The ripe fruits in the garden,
He made them every one.

He gave us eyes to see them,
And lips that we might tell,
How great is God Almighty,
Who has made all things well.
